Comprehensive Search

i-Sight has a built in search engine that indexes all of the case files, contacts and even attachments.  Using the search engine you can search across the entire database to find the information you need.

Search Using Soundex

i-Sight gives you the ability to cast a wider net with your searches.  By using Soundex (Sounds Like) investigators can search for names or information that sounds phonetically similar.  For example, using Soundex, a search for “Smith” would return results for anyone named Smith, Smitt, Smythe, etc.

Search a Specific Field

Search only within a specific field.  Every field within i-Sight can be searched, enabling you to pin point the information you need.

Filter Your Search

Rather than searching through the entire database for a piece of information, you may search a subset of data.  For example, you could search for a last name, but only search cases recorded in the past week, or in cases closed in the past month.  Using search filters makes it easier to identify the desired information by narrowing the result set.
