The i-Sight investigative case management solution has a built in search engine that indexes all case files, contacts and attachments. The built in search engine allows investigators to search for information across the entire database. Investigators can also search for information using Soundex. For example, a search for “Smith” would return results for anyone named Smith, Smitt, Smythe or other similar sounding names. Searches can be drilled down to specific fields to pin point the information you are looking for, without having to search the entire database.
