i-Sight has a built in search engine that indexes all case files, contacts and attachments. The built in search engine allows investigators to search for information across the entire database. Investigators can also search for information using Soundex. For example, a search for “Smith” would return results for anyone named Smith, Smitt, Smythe or other similar sounding names. Searches can be drilled down to specific fields to pin point the information you are looking for, without having to search the entire database.

Evidence Management for Retaliation Investigations

i-Sight allows investigators to easily record new exhibits and attach any kind of electronic file – including audio and video files, PDF’s, MS Word documents, spreadsheets and e-mails. Each attachment is automatically numbered and categorized (witness statement, interview video). Investigators can also describe the contents of the exhibit for easy reference within the case file. Evidence can be accessed by other members of the investigations unit that have been granted access to the case file.
